You might think...

You might think it's been a bit quiet in my corner this week.

Well, I do have an excuse.

On Tuesday I was a day-patient at our local hospital, having a Cardioversion to attempt to bring my heart rhythm under control. After three CV 'shocks' it was a success! :)

Unfortunately it only lasted briefly. By this morning I was back with the same Atrial Fibrillation problem. :(

My brain still works (occasionally) so here I am, back on line again. ;)

Oh dear, Irene. It will work eventually. At one time I thought I would need a permanent appointment to have mine fixed but, it worked in the end - next episode I'll have to have a pacemaker!

Hope they get it sorted for you soon.

Thanks andsome, I hope so too.

ECG done yesterday verified that AF was back. Not sure what comes next...

Continuing with weekly blood tests for INR level (Warfarin effect). I feel like a pin-cushion!

Better than looking like the pin. :D

That was very pointed Colin.

Hang on in there Irene.

:D

I certainly cannot claim to look like a pin, Gandalph - don't think I have ever been able to do that in my entire lifetime! :D

Thanks, Doug. I telephoned the secretary of the Consultant today. I now await instructions as to how we proceed from here.
