Boris
I've just succesfully re-installed Vista HP on an old Acer laptop where the H/D had gone phut, The owner has luckily got a backup of all her files/data, but she has always used Microsoft Works 9.0 which came pre-installed and I don't have a copy of this to re-install it for her.Anybody got any ideas ? Boris
Thanks very much for the replies but she is nearly 85 and isn't going to be able to cope with anything new. After serious googling I managed to find what appears to be a legit ??? download link for Works V9.0 (X14-02658.exe)https://drcdn.blob.core.windows.net/msoffice/pub/X14-02658/X14-02658.exeIt installed fine (if slowly) as the lappy only has a Celeron 1.73 + 2GB PC-5300 - so she will be back in business doing her life history/memories over Christmas.
