Tankus Posted October 19, 2003 Report Share Posted October 19, 2003 Ola ..... I'm back.........!Needed that....Been to southern Spain tooling round in a rented car for two weeks . Gibraltar's worth a visit , but Cadiz was somewhat of a disappointment , 3000 years of settlement history and all they have to show for it is a 12 ft Roman wall , and two mounds with a wall around it .(which they call a castle arf arf)...... I think that Spaniards look on historical sites as a hotel building opportunity ......Torremolinos and Marabella are like Bournemouth with Tapas bars , apparently 2.5 mill British live in that area, and it shows, 2 hours to get from Malaga to Cardiff ..6 hours to get from Cardiff to Walthamstow London .....Seems like the whole underground has fallen apart in the last two weeks ....Ah well ...Im back in the 3rd world ......Missed you all A calmer person all around , until I go back into the grind tomorrow .....
