andsome Posted August 15, 2018 Report Share Posted August 15, 2018 What the hell is the matter with the Android system, why cant they get it right? My last phone , a Windows one used to update occasionally. My Android one updates one or more apps virtually every day. This morning there are four more. Some apps update several times a week. What the hell is wrong with the system that so many updates are needed? I did not particularly like Windows on a phone, but will not have Android next time. Then there are the apps made by the inveterate tweakers, those that are never satisfied as they can always think of some way of improving things. All reasons why I deactivated automatic update. Belatucadrus Posted August 15, 2018 Report Share Posted August 15, 2018 I always used to enjoy the Windows / Apple spats you used to get on various forums, There were always the fanatics blathering on about Micro$haft and how Bill Gates was the Antichrist and Steve Jobs was truly a saint in human form. To me a mobile phone is for phone calls, text messages and the occasional photo. I don’t want to download noisy crap, or play games twiddling my thumbs over the screen as I walk. The only reason that I bought a smart phone is for a qwerty keyboard on screen. The i pad is way over priced and is no where as near as good as a computer. I only have it for convenience.
