Guest nellie2
I'm not really counting my hotmail account because I don't use it... I only have the hotmail addy for msn or to use if I have to give an email addy for something.Just recently I have been getting some spam from the same source... I am waiting for them to get fed up.... I am getting about 3 emails a day from this particular company but other than that not a lot at all. Pegasus
I get between 40-100 Spam Mails per day :angry:About half of them are addressed to Me, but 99% of them are from people/companies that I have No Connection with!I use MailWasher to take care of them, but in the last few months i have been getting 6 mails Everytime I 'Check Mail' that have No 'From' or 'Subject' listed so I cannot get Mailwasher to do anything about them!I am Still waiting for Someone to come Up with a 20000 Volt Attachment I can Return to All the Senders! ;) B)I must say that I find television very educational. The minute somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a book.____________________________________Quote me as saying I was mis-quoted. bvw
I get a bit concerned sometimes because I get spates of spam stuff which says it is from myselfI had that once, one of my contacts had a virus that sent itself to all addresses in their address book, Klez virus.Might be worth you checking it out with them, many people do not have up to date virus scanners :(

don't ask
Thanks guys .............. I'm using Zone Alarm, Adaware and up-to-date Sophos ........... Sophos says everything is fine ..... don't know if I have the current Adaware though. The e-mails I mentioned say the sender is Jenny ..../Jenna ..../Hott .... and it is when I look at the properties of the e-mails they mention my name (sometimes with a 2, 3, or 4 before it) - sometimes with my ISP's domain, sometimes with other ones.It is a bit of a pain in the whatsit :angry:andsome - shall I still try the Symantec link ? Prince of Sloth
Currently only a few reach my inbox, but I've got the previously mentioned filter from BT/Yahoo pushing Spam into it's only little folder before it gets to me.I just accessed the folder to hunt for a missing email and found that I had 133 Pages of spam! Am so glad I signed up for the filter - I used to get about 30 a day.
