AlanHo Posted November 6, 2018 Report Share Posted November 6, 2018 I had a similar - but much better worded message 3 months ago - where the scumbag claimed he had downloaded porn from my computer and embarrassing videos from my web cam which he would send to everyone in my address book and post on the internet if I didn't send him 100 bitcoins within 24 hours. I deleted it of course. Two weeks later the scam was all over the media - several hundred people had received them and some had actually paid up. The password shown in the e mail is the one that I keep for forums. No money is involved. I use different passwords for all money dealing or purchasing etc. So it did the creep no good whatsoever. The only people he can get away with his schemes are those who for one thing have a camera device as he called it on their computer, I have never had a webcam.
