Is there any point in getting one of these before longhorn is released .....?

Go for a cheaper chip and use the difference for a faster grahics or other goodies ?

Well as he already has it Tankus...

To take complete advantage of it Craig would have to buy the 64bit Windows XP and any additional 64bit software.

The chip itself worked out at around £20 more than its 32bit sister, everything else was what you would expect to pay on a normal upgrade.

One problem i am having at the moment is it doesnt like my audigy 5.1 card. As soon as i pop it in, the computer wont boot and it tells me the CPU is dead

No wonder it took a long time to set up if it's in 64 bits. Mine was all in one when the man brought it to me.
