andsome
This baby is one awkward little blighter. It has decided to keep us waiting even more. It is officially due in about another eight or nine days, and after the false alarm seems intent on keeping us waiting for the full term. Surely it must be a girl. Not really. She would obviously like to get it over and done with, but she said that as long as she feels well she will be patient for a little longer. The one who is getting VERY impatient is little 8.5 years old Zoe. She can't wait

andsome
After two and a half weeks of on and off contractions, the baby has gone and turned round sideways. She has been to Shrewsbury hospital today for them to attempt to turn it. They had said that they may not be able to because it appears to be rather large. However all turned out well, they turned it with relative ease. They put this down to the fact that she is a yoga expert, and was able to totally relax her muscles. The OFFICIAL due date was Monday just gone, so we are all keeping our fingers crossed for her. I will keep everyone posted, and many thanks to you all for your good wishes and interest. It is very much appreciated. As you can imagine on that night almost three weeks ago, I was so excited I just had to tell someone, as it looked then as though it was all going to happen. doug
andsome I think I´ve been having sympathy pains, or was it the good food here?
andsome
She is back home now, so it looks as though the home birth that she wants may still be on.I had jumped the gun thinking that she was due back home, they decided to keep her in overnight for observation. She then started labour at 1-am, and kept going until at 8-56 am this morning she produced a lovely DAUGHTER. Those who said that only a woman could be so damned awkward were right. We now have the full story regarding the breech. The midwife who turned the baby said she was not as large as first thought, it was all due to the position she had got herself into. Evidently she had one foot and her head right underneath Jackie's rib cage and the other foot right at the bottom of the womb. She is obviously going to be a gymnast, if she can do the splits before she is born. It's a relief that at long last it's all over, and although you may find it difficult to believe, she really is ALMOST as pretty as her proud granddad.GUESS WHAT. She is BLONDE
