The thinking behind a lot of these changes seems good but implimentation has been disastorous. For example, Tax Credits and The Criminal Records Bureau. My question is... does the PM think that these changes are being brought in too quickly... or perhaps those involved in the planning stages should come down to the shop floor to see what things are like in the real world!!! The meeting was at the Park Lane Hilton and involved a lunch and a guest speaker - the then Minister of Agriculture - a physically large person whose birthday, I have found out, is today. Anyway lunch and speeches over, I left the meeting at the same time as the "honourable" minister and going down the stairs to the hotel foyer, he turned to his secretary and said: "Let's get out of this place, back to the House and rejoin the human race."I never had much respect for politicians and parliamentarians. They are obviously people of a certain type, who consider themselves as rulers, rather than servants. Who in their RIGHT mind would want to be a prime minister or president?
