don't ask Posted February 21, 2004 Report Share Posted February 21, 2004 The error is intermittent, but when I ask Mailwasher to 'process mail', it starts to do it then collapses with : fatal exception -0028:C02A37A8 in VxD VWIN32(05) + 000012D0.Is this familiar to anyone? I get a window which tells me that the server disconnected, or something similar. There can be a dozen or more such windows on the screen if I have left the computer for a while. Usually then, when I click on check mail, it does so but takes it's time doing it. It then runs OK. Generally it is a well behaved program, this just occurs now and then. I've never had any trouble with it other than it seizing up when my account was spammed. When that happens I have to try to access my account via webmail in order to clear it. I uninstalled the old one then ran a deep search with Reg supreme. It found and deleted the old register keys.
