Hi folks

New install of XP today. One thing is different. The bottom right hand corner of the screen used to have a little button which when clicked moved aside and showed all the other icons. It is no longer there and I have a long line of icons on view all the time. I have selected to hide unused icons but still no little button. What am I doing wrong please.

It has suddenly appeared. I think it wants time to establish what is being used regularly and what isn't.

Now would be a good time to get Drive Image Andsome, major problem again and you can be back up and running in minutes.

Hi andsome

As i know you use Norton Products aswell, Norton Ghost is also a very good program for taking images of your hard drive, and is also very easy to use.

For drive Imaging/Restoration I use this :-

http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/

Acronis True Image is the easiest and the most convenient and intuitive disk imaging, backup and recovery software you've ever seen. Its automated, wizard-driven operations make the backup and restore a no brainer.

How easy is it to use, and where is the best place to purchase it please?

Very simple to use. :)

You can purchase DI7 from http://www.powerquest.com/driveimage/ as a download, you will also be sent the cd's via snail mail, but local Pcworld will probably have it in stock too.

Don't forget that Drive Image 7 needs you to have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed !
