Craig
I’m fully aware of the long loading times of the site since our downtime earlier this week.I’m working to get this problem resolved, and I hope to bring it all to speed within the next 7 days.During the 7 day period windowsforum.org will become unavailable for a maximum of 2 days, but an auxiliary site will be made available during that time with access to the full Windows Forum database so you can carry on posting.Further details with regards to the auxiliary site will be posted when the time gets closer.Craig
andsome
I thought it was a little tardy, and thought the computer was sulking because I had been away for a few days.

Craig
Hi all,I’m currently in the process of uploading all files to the Windows Forum backup site.Later on this evening the backup site will take over from this one.Downtime will be kept to a minimum, and should last for a maximum of 30 minutes. The downtime is only due to having to make a backup of the database here, and restoration of the database at the backup site. While the transfer is taking place, the forum here will be taken offline, and once complete, a redirection page will be put in place.Windowsforum.org will still be available for the next 24-36 hours, at which point it will disappear while the DNS propagates.Craig. Craig
Sorry folks, i have some technical issues last night which meant i couldnt transfer the site.I'm now waiting for some information, so if all goes well, the transfer should take place in the next few hours. One thing you will need to change, if you are accessing the site via links provided to you in an email prior to the transfer (once it has taken place), you will need to change www.windowsforum.org to www.windowsforumhosting.comCraig.
