Gee, I love your multi-Racial Tolerance, Andsome!

  :D

Nothing to do with racial tolerance. He is German, which makes no difference to me, I have several friends in Germany, but boy oh boy, he is arrogant.

Well we're back at last :) thank goodness. The race was brilliant and thankfully it didn't rain. Boy was it cold though at half three in the morning

Had a fantastic time so now it's back to saving for next year.

I'll tell you one thing though, I'm never travelling on a coach again. All four that we travelled on, there and back, were late, anything from 25 minutes to an hour.

The last one being late into Plymouth because the driver took a wrong turning just outside London. Probably because he kept talking on his mobile while driving at the same time, at one point he was chatting away on the phone and took his other hand off the wheel to have a scratch!!! Not bad with a coach full of people

I've put a few piccies in the gallery if anyone wants to have a look.

Time now to catch up on all those unread posts :) :)

Ooooo tis lovely to be home :)

I can't see how they can just ignore it

Here's part of the letter I received this morning from National express:

Thank you for your letter.

I am concerned by your comments with respect to the driver's use of a handheld mobile telephone whilst driving on the 501 service. We place very strong restrictions on the use of hand-held phones on our services. Indeed, there are very few reasons why hand held phones should be used at all on our network. Vehicles operating our services are generally equipped with hands free equipment.

In the rare cases where a hand held phone is the only mobile phone available to the driver, we insist that it is used only when the vehicle is stationary and the engine turned off, in line with legal requirements. In cases where crews have access to hands free equipment, this must be used only for essential and brief notification of operational information. Any longer conversations should wait until the vehicle is

stationary.

You may rest assured that details of this incident have been brought to the attention of the driver's manager so that the appropriate action can be taken. In addition, I am advising our Compliance Manager of your comments so that further monitoring can be undertaken as necessary.

Once again, my sincere apologies and thank you for taking the trouble to contact us.

Well, at least they replied. Wont be travelling by coach again though
