These record attempts conjure up 50 or so people which doesn't represent anything like the number of people who show at least some activity on this site - either actively contributing or lurking (and I'm not disparaging lurking by any means).Another thing is that these attempts take some effort, possibly small but effort just the same, for people to attend or even remember. Don't forget that WF is international and 9-00 pm may be convenient for us in the UK but if you're in the Far East or the Antipodes, it may not be so. Thinking about it, 9-00 pm is not very convenient for me, I usually pack up a couple of hours earlier than that.If a record attempt is arranged, I will, of course, make an effort to boost the numbers but my feelings about it are explained.Sorry :( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If people want to come here - and like me enjoy the experience - they will, regardless of the statistics published at the foot of the board.This is a great place to visit - I drop in several times a day twixt domestic chores - and am not influenced in any way by how many people may have been logged in at a particular time on a particular day.
