andsome
Anyone else finding that they have to log on at every visit?
doug
No
doug
Then again possibly yes. Just closed my open tabs and reloaded and had to re-log in. Now it didn't earlier, hence the No posted above. Think this will have to be followed up. May be you and I have geriatric fingers.
djohn
No, It works fine from this end. Try logging on then remove your old address from favourites. Click on, add this site to your favourites then log off and log on again using the new link. It should now work fine, if not clear your temp files and do the same as above again.
doug
DJ can you spell that out a little bit more slowly please.
djohn
Sure doug, it didn't make much sense to me either on reading it back. :blink:If you have reached the forum [neoplanet] through the re-direct link on the web page of windows forum, it may be this that is causing the problem of you having to log in each time.I would think you have, like I do, a link in your browser to bring you to windowsforum. If so use that and let it re-direct you to this new address. Delete the old address from your browsers favourites.Use your normal method of adding a web page or forum to your favourites folder or sidebar to add neoplanet back into there. Log out of the forum then click on the new link you have just made and it should log you in automatically each time, just like it used to.If that does not cure the problem, then clear your temp internet files and try the same thing again.Give me a shout if that does not work. Just off to have my dinner now but will be back shortly. :)

Redhat
I'm getting the same thing, entering through neoplanet.co.uk
deuces wild
I get to the forum site via a bookmark of http://forums.neoplanet.co.uk/index.php? After my initial sign on (entering my user name and password) I have had no problems signing on again (automatically).I am accessing the forum from the US via a cable modem.Don't know if this helps.
djohn
Well I've tried logging out, closing down my browser running CCleaner, then opening browser again, clicking on the new link I have in my favourites and it brings me straight in, no need to log in.

andsome
I cleared everything yesterday, and opened Crap Cleaner, and dragged Neo Planet cookie from right to left. Nothing corrected the problem. This morning everything is A OK. Maybe a restart did it.
-pops-
This is the way I do it:Select the page you want as your opening page. Copy the address in the address bar to clipboard (CTRL + C).Shut down the browser or go back to your home page.Re-open your browser and paste the clipboard contents (Ctrl + V) into the address bar and click Go.Next time you want to come to Neo Planet, click on the dropdown from the address bar and select your required opening page.Hope that makes sense :)
andsome
It's OK now. It just did not work properly yesterday. In the morning I usually follow all the e-mail links one by one, and this did not work yesterday either.

andsome
If you use Crap Cleaner, don't forget to drag the Neo Planet cookie from the left window to the right in Options/Cookies.

-pops-
I've got it as my home page - is that not the same thing?I still had to log in again just now......... :(Not quite. In my method, the page you use to open Neo Planet is one after the home page or log in page. Example, I use the "Forums" page as the start and it takes me straight in.
