She keeps suggesting that I can always go abroad by myself, but I don't really fancy that. I would be scared stiff of all the young half naked dolly birds on the beach trying to take advantage of me. I am still working on her, trying to persuade her to try hypnosis again. She has tried multiple brandies and only made herself feel ill. She has also tried Valium, with no effect whatsoever. andsome Posted May 8, 2005 Report Share Posted May 8, 2005 We always did enjoy being on the beach, but always a quiet one NEVER with radios. We would walk for miles to avoid them. I always think that people who use radios on the beach without a private earphone are being VERY anti social. Why do they have to have loud objectionable type noise blaring out, why can't they just relax and have a bit of peace and quiet. Anyway, we are way off topic now. I scanned the picture into my computer today and did a bit a resizing as the original picture was printed at 4.75" x 3.33", or it may have been cropped by my wife to fit a small magnetic frame we have on the fridge. The scan is not the best quality but probably the best sky picture I have.The boat (just the edge of it showing) on the bottom right is mine. The boat in front of that is my friends, a 1958 26 foot Lyman hardtop. :) Boating vacations at Leamington Marina were some of the best times we ever had. We travelled up there annually.ATTACHED is a picture of the kids (our daughter and also our son in the light blue baseball cap at the right....the other 2 are our friend's boys) some 6 years ago in Leamington. It is (according to the town) the tomato capital of the world, thus the figures in the middle of town. We took pictures of the kids standing in the same place for our 6 or so years of boating up to Leamington...very fond memories of the place. :) Sorry for the long post....the picture(s) brought back great memories. :blush: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
