Sir Radfordin
Feeling a little bit nosy on a Monday afternoon...If you have XP set up as it should be (none of this classic nonsense!) then what does it show about your computer use? What the top applications you are using, and what have you 'pinned' to the start menu?To start it all off:PinnedInternet Explorer (someone has to carry on using it)Pegaus MailLotus OrganiserStart MenuDealer EditWS_FTPDreamweaver MXWordNotepad (!)Windows Media PlayerDrive Rescue (it wasn't me who lost 2 assignments!)Command Prompt (long live dos)ExcelVery boring isn't it

Guest Nellie2
That is photo editor that turns it that colour......honest!!.....anyway, what is wrong with plum!!!!The way I do it is press print screen, the little button just to the right of your keyboard, usually above your delete key somewhere.......open up microsoft photo editor, click on new, then paste and the picture of what is on my screen is pasted into photo editor, I then crop off the bits I don't want and 'save as' somewhere then post. artist
Re. How to get the pic on here - What am I doing wrong?I tried your way Damo but when I go into PSP , it's there but not looking like the start up menu - just a list in a window.Tried your way Nell and only got a window with the dimensions, size etc. Also the 'paste' is greyed out. When I press the 'print screen' nothing happens - should it? :( How did you get on Tankus?
Guest Nellie2
Ok........1. Get your desktop how you want it to be and press PrtScrn..........nothing will happen, it will just copy a picture of your desktop to the clipboard.2. open MS photo editor3. click the far left icon for 'new' (the one that looks like a piece of paper.4. a box entitled 'blank picture will pop up.....mine shows resolution 100% width 99.99 and hieght 99.99 click ok,5. when you click ok a blank white square will show.....as long as something is on your clip board then when you right click it will paste onto the square.........then you can fiddle with it. Guest spikeychris
Even easier >>>Just click start so that the start up menu appears. Then hit the Print Screen button. Open up Microsoft Paint and click edit at the top of the screen and click paste, this will place the image on screen. You then have the option of cutting it down to fit.Chris
