artist Posted October 21, 2005 Report Share Posted October 21, 2005 I'm compiling assorted music to burn to CD. I've managed to burn some ok - then MP tells me there's no disc in the drive! Why isn't it recognizing it. It is MP or my writer?I thought it was just music files but it's data as well - though not all the time. It does sometimes burn some tracks to the the disc then stops........I have made MP the default player. Have also got Nero Xpress installed. That doesn't work either. rong Posted October 22, 2005 Report Share Posted October 22, 2005 Not an expert but if it doesn't work in Nero either it points to the CD player/burner rather than software. It handles all formats (including DVD-RAM for those who use a Panasonic Hard drive DVD recorder with their telly) and is one of the less expensive drives.It comes top of the pops with some of the computer magazines.I have used mine for more than 12 months and am very happy with it.
