deuces wild
Why does my avatar keep disappearing with each new server upgrade?????
Chris
Probably a permissions problem, however it might be because your image is no longer on the server...I just had a look in the uploads folder [wish I didn't] and your image av-1608.jpg is not there. But its get confusing in that folder...a few hundread images I would say, so i could miss it.But it takes the best part of 10 seconds to add an avatar, so I would just redo it...or upload your avatar to imageshack and link to it.Image ShackThis way; the image link is retained. andsome
I have registered with Image shack and can't get it to display pictures. An exceptionally kind person on the forum hosts my signature picture for me, of the worlds finest composer.
CurlyWhirly
I have registered with Image shack and can't get it to display pictures.I didn't know that you had to register with Imageshack in order to use it's hosting service  I haven't registered with them and I have no problems displaying pictures! andsome
I can't really remember exactly what I did, I was not really bothered. I seem to remember that I had to register details before uploading. Then having uploaded I could see nothing of my pictures.
artist
Excuse me, but at the risk of being a bit 'blonde' again - Why can't you just upload a pic from your own files or why can't you use the space provided with your ISP?
-pops-
I don't have these problems as I don't find the need for an avatar - I don't really see the function of them. If it's meant to identify a forum member then why are they constantly being changed by so many?Or is this just Sunday morning grumpiness? catgate
I don't really see the function of them.I always thought it was supposed to be a "personal statement" to the world. Much like the signature line/s.
