It is surprising how often a "butter is best for your health" survey turns out to be financed by some butter council or other. Similarly sugar and almost anything else you could mention.I coudn't find the sponsors of this survey without going into a good deal of trouble. I do recall another survey showing Ireland top and Britain 29th and yet another with Canada top and Britain nowhere. Every tourist board can therefore qoute something favourable to themselves.(BTW, Gandalph. I thought, when I saw the topic title, that you were going to say Scotland.)Thos.
