was looking on ebay and seen people selling bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale limited edition (Shearer Testimonial) bottle for £14 (+P&P) :blink: i can get a bottle for £1.69 ......profit to be made....

It's OK if you plan to keep it as a souvenir, but if you want a DECENT drink, you need draught bitter. :D

Not wanting to be too pendantic Gandalph but that should read Nowt wrang wi wor broon, I do detect a slight Scottish pollution with your version :D

I wish I knew what the heck you were talking about. :lol: :rolleyes:

They are talking about a fizzy bottled concoction made up north. They think it's beer, but they have obviously never tasted good Midlands draught bitter. It tastes very similar to what I would imagine a nutty flavoured pine disinfectant would taste like.

Has anyone tried "Toon Ale" seen it in asda only had a few bottles as its not made in mass.

Toon Ale is a handcrafted REAL Ale that is not brewed on a large commercial scale, hence only a limited supply of Toon Ale can be brewed at a time.
