I mean not me. I didn't even read the hole thing because I didn't know what or who he was talking about. Is there any sense to this propaganda?

I hoped someone might shed some light on it. It seems too big to go unnoticed.

Can't help I'm afraid. I haven't a clue what it's all about. How the hell did you come across this?

Someone pointed me to it, and asked what I thought about it. It looks 'too big' to be true, but then America is a 'big' place.

I wondered if there was any connection with the "Skulls and Bones" of Yale.

Edit Must get a spell cker or smoe new spocticles.

Do you have the Google Toolbar installed? There is a spill chucker on that.

I have a spell checker on in IE on my Windows machine, but have not yet managed to get one that would work on this Linux machine using this latest version of Firefox. I downloaded one yesterday, but it would not install because it appears as though my version of Firefox is too new.

Makes no sense to me. Perhaps as it is so big in the US of A, one of our American friends knows what it is about.

Thos.

It is garbage. Unfortunately some folks believe everything they read on the internet as being factual and true, especially when it fits their agenda. :blum:

That's a very concise and erudite explanation.

Try the link on this http://performancing.com/firefox/handbook/spellcheck I have 0.9.8.20060108 and it works. There was a link on here earlier.

Thonk yow Rong.

I have dwounloadedit and it and it seeems to be istulled, but as yow can see it does not want to werk.

I find that most peculiar. It must be the Linux interfering with its smooth operation or something similar. I am on FF1.0.5.6. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060808

In mine I have to click on the yellow thing at the top of the screen to allow it to install, some security thing I believe.

Well there's one good thing come out of this post, we can now tell everyone with I.E. problems they would be better off with Firefox and someone can no longer complain, or rather after this thread should not.

I tried Google Toolbar some time ago, shortly after its introduction, and I had a very uncomfortable feeling about it. Difficult to describe, but quite alien and threatening. I shed it after about a week.
