AlanHo
Nice try andsome - but typically tongue in cheek. This is a quote from your linkIt's obviously satire, though in a few cases it has been posted around the Net as factual and, strange as it seems, hotly debated. I have found no evidence of a "Lovenstein Institute" in Scranton, Pennsylvania or anywhere else. There's no trace of a "Dr. Werner R. Lovenstein, world-renowned sociologist" or "Professor Patricia F. Dilliams, world-respected psychiatrist" — not in this world, at any rate. All of the facts and figures appear to have been fabricated. Some versions of the text claim it was published by the Associated Press, which is certainly not the case. The apparent source of this work of fiction was www.linkydinky.com, which is home, appropriately enough, to a humor mailing list.

catgate
It is all a big hoax. The truth is that he is the worst amongst equals. Edit := It is a bit like trying to determine the slipperiest eel in the basket.
-pops-
Q. What is IQ? A. A meaningless concept created by someone with nothing better to do to fill his/her time but, with the potential to generate loads of money from individuals hapless enough to be taken in by the rubbish it represents. Similarly MENSA, the organisation founded as a refuge for those caught in the intrigue of wondering what IQ meant and its importance to society at large.Q. What does IQ represent?A. IQ indicates an ability to be able to pass rather silly and utterly pointless tests which are completely introspective. Nothing more. Thos
I think pops has put his finger on it. The measurement of IQ is a discredited science. MENSA used to put adverts in papers which purported to show your IQ if you completed the task set. Of course it was a ploy to get more members and the subscriptions they brought in.Personally, I do not subscribe to the view that the President of the USA (whom I have never supported) is an idiot, though I will join in the fun of lampooning him.(incidentally, nor are Blair or Cameron idiots, thugh everyone does idiotic things sometimes, I guess)Thos. -pops-
Anyone who can amass the quantities of personal wealth that Bush, Blair (and wife) and any other of the world leaders have done (and will continue to do) in office or not, mostly at the expense of the public they are supposed to serve, cannot ever be considered a fool. Con artist, crook, perhaps, but fool; never. It tends to be forgotten that all of these people are very, very wealthy. It's not only the African (and other) despots that accrue huge fortunes.Do you think they have any concerns about you or me? Of course they don't. They are in it for what they can get out of it and the ones that succeed, that is the ones whose name you can remember, are extremely clever, high IQ or not.
