I don't just like Mahler. There are many fine composers, including several contemporary ones. I also like jazz in its many forms, and also many modern film scores. I probably have far wider musical appreciation than most on this forum. It does seem that many only like strumming guitars and noise. If it has a good tune, I can get on with it fine. :D :D

Well...Depending on the mood...

Layed back tunez --->SimpleMinds to Carlos Santana to Eric Clapton to Cat Stevens to Jean Michel Jarre to John Denver to Marianne Faithfull to Ry Cooder to The Rolling Stones to R.E.M to Van Morrison to Matt Monroe etc etc.

On1 Tunez --->DJ Dean to DJ Shog to Ron Van Den Beuken to DJ Pi to DJ Tatana to The Tidy Boys to DJ Anne Savage to DJ Lisa Lashes etc etc.

Most played albums at the mo are --->

VA - Ron Van Den Beuken - In The Mix (2006)

VA - DJ Pi - Trance Empire Vol.22 (Opening To Beyond)

VA - Summer Parade (Mixed by DJ Tatana) (2006)

VA - Technics DJ Set Vol.14 (DJ Shog) (2006)

VA - Tunnel Trance Force Vol.33/36/37/38

I can just hear all the 'oldies' complaining "do you call that music?" To which I reply "Yes".

I love music in all it's guises, especially if it grabs me! ;)

2 windows of this in perfect canon.

:D :D

Well that's different! Didn't understand a word though.

"The cartoon uses the second half of the fifth stanza (four lines) and the complete sixth stanza (eight lines) from the song. Unlike the rest of the song, these two stanzas have no meaning, consisting mostly of phonetically-inspired gibberish that vary from performance to performance and are usually made up on the spot by the singer (compare scat singing in jazz). These stanzas are therefore not generally listed on lyrics pages, causing confusion for people looking for lyrics that match the cartoon."

From wikipedia

The whole song can be found here with the lyrics (+translated) here (Last song on the page).

It's quite different, yes, but I can leave it on for hours on end.. for now. I just found it yesterday :P
