AlanHo
There is an article on the BBC news site saying that scientists believe humans may split into two sub-species in 100,000 years time.I got news for them - it has already happened.Bang your club here

catgate
On a serious note, I suspect there may be some truth in it, and it may happen before 100,000 years (if indeed there is anything left after the next half century). It seems to me that the number of people who are being conceived through artificial means, due to some genetic mutation deficiency in their parents, is rapidly increasing. This is not unexpected, because 50 years ago they could not have existed, because their parents would not have been able to be parents. However these people will eventually procreate, again probably by being assisted, and these gene deficiencies will again be passed on, with the result that more and more people in the world will want assistance ....I think it is the converse of Darwin. I will call it "Catgate's Law of Unnatural Selection".
Gandalph
The descendants of the genetic upper class would be tall, slim, healthy, attractive, intelligent, and creative and a far cry from the "underclass" humans who would have evolved into dim-witted, ugly, squat goblin-like creatures. They have met andsome then.
AlanHo
I sense that it was probably unwise to start this thread - expecting it to simply result in a certain person pointing out that the two sub species are blondes, brunettes, baldies and those who cannot count.
