CurlyWhirly Posted October 22, 2006 Report Share Posted October 22, 2006 It's enough to put you off bothering to recycle.I agree but if you don't bother recycling then it is soon to become expensive as some councils have already fitted (hidden) microchips to their dustbins and charge you by weight :0 It was on a recent 'Tonight with Trevor McDonald' programme.There are also plans to cut back on 'normal' rubbish collections from the current weekly to fortnightly collections and so if you don't recycle then your bin will be overflowing resulting in a health risk in the summer months!
