As far as I am aware it is an intrinsic part of any Windows installation, and is ALWAYS there when I have reinstalled the O.S.Why not delete, My Documents, or My favourites, ar My pictures? Scarecrow Man Posted November 20, 2006 Report Share Posted November 20, 2006 The All Users folder contains programs (or rather, shortcuts) that are displayed on all of the users start menu, desktop, etc.I was once asking why my desktop icon's seemed to have two alphabetical orders. For Example, things like Adobe Reader, would automatically be put into the All Users desktop. When I arranged by Alphabetical, it was always first, followed by some others, and then starting over at A again.I now usually cut from the All Users Desktop, and paste to my own. This has fixed my problem.I would suggest doing the same with your setup. If you do not want them under All Users, just cut and paste it into your own folder. Mind you, the next time you set up a new user, it will be taken from the All Users and will not have many icons or programs because you have taken them all out.The All Users folder should not be very large, so you will not gain much free space by deleting everything.
