Thos
Looks a good deal, but I do regular trips via the Channel tunnel to stock up with wine and bits and pieces. Next trip, I expect, sometime in January.Thos. :)

-pops-
Check and compare prices with your local supermarket before parting with any money. Even with large discounts, they will have problems price matching, I understand.A Threshers near to here opened recently and closed within six months due to lack of custom because, in their wisdom, they opened about 20 yards/metres from Tesco and a similar distance from the Co-op in the other direction.I don't have any need for the products that Threshers sell and, having a son with a private pilot's licence and a "son in law" who's a 747 captain, all items in that area that I get in for guests is well in hand. Alan2273
Threshers have dropped a clanger, it was only meant for retail customers not the general public, but on the news it said they would honour anyone who comes in with the web voucher
Thos
I endorse pops remarks. There ws an item on the TV yesterday which suggested that the intitial prices were higher than most others and the discount only brought the prices back to competitors levels. As always, shop carefully.Thos. andsome
Personally, I think that some of the best wine at reasonable prices these days come from Chile.
Tankus
I'll go along with that andsome ...a good S African is usually a sure bet too A threshers marketing ploy that looks successful ....., apparently they have been offering a 33% discount for over a year .....I find (wallet) thrashers somewhat expensive .... Most of my local sri lankan offys have a bunch of Poles doing the white van Calais run anyways ....!
