(It is always at 2.3)Have been with them for almost 3 years - have upgraded twice online - two with price reductions - with no problems.Only a small hitch when they upgraded their system and that was easily remedied with help on their forum.Always comes 2nd after bt in some of the computer magazines. My connection at present os 100.0Mbps... not sure if this is a good comparison or not? My daughter is on Tiscali. She is a member of WF. The upgrade went without incident and i have been more than happy with Tiscali for the 2-3 years i have been with them.Their customers service and tech service line are very good too. They even helped me configure a non tiscali product.So im more than happy.. I will be moving home soon and so will be using their 'move home' with new tel number. I've been with BT all the time I've had an Internet connection in 1995 (at 14Kbps).I'm now on a nominal 8 Mbps and I normally get about 6 - 7 Mbps. It's not the cheapest but I am happy with the service I get with BT and, considering the dreadful problems that others get with the alternatives, it would have to be extremely strong persuasion to get me to change. I had no problems with any of them and changed each time because the new packge was better in some way than the old.Whether an ISP is regarded as good or bad depends, I think, on the service when things go wrong and I have been fortunate not to have to call on that aspect of their service. I have a soft spot for Wanadoo. They were very helpful in my transfer away from them to Sky, when I was expecting an obstructive attitude.If you have a Sky TV package, the Sky Broadband is a very good add-on. Even if we were I think my inbred parsimony would prevent me from using it, since our TV viewing is probably no more than an hour per day between the two of us.
