How to put back to audio sound on my computer

Recommended Posts

How can i put back the audio sound of my computer because my dad disable it. I can't listen to music. :( :(

Anyone pls help me.

thanks..

Your Dad would probably send a lynching party for us!! :shok:

Maybe if you promised to keep the sound low he would put it back on again. Perhaps you could wear headphones? ;)

do you have audio drivers installed?

you can see this by doing: Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager, then check if there are objects with a ? in front of them [these arent [or not properly] installed.

Another way to check this is by go to the device manager and goto: Sound, video and game controllers and check if all devices work properly

You said that your dad disabled the sound, so it was obviously working before. Did he perhaps do this for a good reason? Were you driving the house mad with noise. Maybe if you promise to keep the volume down, he would re-enable it. I wish I could have disabled my sons Hi fi when he was younger and lived at home.

If I was the parent I would have disabled the audio service. Click the Start button, run, type services.msc and make sure Windows Audio is Started. If this is not the case check the device manager for driver problems, then the Sounds and Audio devices in the control panel along with any other audio applets in there. There is a mute setting in there also and other things that must be set for the sound to work. Just some other things to try, hope it helps.

Open the Device Manager and check if you have any yellow exclamation marks; especially on 'Sound, video and game controllers'.

If so, tell us the exact device name that has the exclamation mark.

Yeah it has a yellow, but not Exclamation mark it's Question mark on Multimedia Audio Controller on the device manager..What kind of driver I should download and where?.

Unfortunately "Multimedia Audio Controller" does not give enough information to lead to a specific device driver.

Please try to find the answer to Nellie's question above. Also, in the Device Manger, try Properties on the device with the yellow question/exclamation mark, and find out what the exact error is.

You can also try to download System Information for Windows, run it, and see if it gives you more information than the Device Manager.
