Arthur Posted May 6, 2007 Report Share Posted May 6, 2007 Whenever I click on a icon on the Quick Launch it opens two windows instead of one. For example, if I click on the Internet Explorer icon it opens 2 windows. Also, when I click on the Windows Explorer icon. In this last case sometimes it opens 3 windows. This is especially annoying when trying to open a [+] list in Explorer or Outlook; it will always open and close it at one single click.One of these days I will get a new mouse... Be sure that whichever mouse you choose will work with the restore CD/DVD from the backup programme you use. And if you don't use a backup programme - you should.I vaguely recall andsome reporting that Acronis will work fine with his Logitech cordless units - but cannot recall whether this was when doing a restore from the emergency disc or not. (Whether you use the computer or not, all batteries needed replacement after a day of use or non-use. That is four batteries for the keyboard and two for the mouse.) Regarding batteries, the mouse has had one AA replacement since December, this was a week or two ago. I think that even on pension I can afford that.
