andsome Posted June 6, 2007 Report Share Posted June 6, 2007 I really like THIS alternative.Thos.There are 10 ideas - which one do you like.I see the bookmakers have revised their odds on the logo being changed before the end of this year - they are now 10 to 1. I personally don't care which logo they choose - the olympics have failed to grab my interest ever since they allowed professionals rather than limit it to amateurs. It is now just another excuse for greedy so called celebrities and large commercial interests to cream off the money - like with UK football.I prefer number one, but fully agree with your sentiments. it is getting more and more difficult to find SPORT as we once knew it. I also think it would have been a better idea to put the tender for the logo out to the public by way of a computer graphic entry, and probably have a shut off date of say, December 31st this year. Then have a body of officials going through them to pick a winner to receive two free entry tickets into the Olympic venue for the duration of the games or a small money alternative, this I think would have been a lot cheaper.
