deuces wild
theres a geezer in Korea who sez he has ...!Impossible. It is way beyond our capablilities. The human body is an engineering marvel. Now add to the mix the fact that a tiny acorn can become a mighty oak tree.It just did not happen by *accident*. B) I agree. But I also believe in the Bible....it took 7 *days* to create Man and the planets..........with a definition of God's *Day* unknown. Regardless..........our world and the creatures who reside on it did not happen by accident. YMMV. B)

B)I cannot accept for one moment, that a deity created everything INCLUDING man in seven days, and then started to talk to this man as the Bible says. I much prefer the big bang theory and the theory that the universe is still expanding, and that new life is still occurring. We used to have one on here who claimed that all this happened about 6000 years ago. He claimed that a bloke named Noah actually did build a massive boat and gathered up two of every creature in the world when the flood came. How this man was supposed to herd all these creatures together on his travels , and how he got from continent to continent to gather them all up is a total mystery. I asked him how Noah went about gathering everything up including two each of the dinosaurs, and prevented them from eating each other. He claimed that dinosaurs NEVER existed, despite that fact that Americans have found thousands of Dinosaur remains on their own continent. I would happily accept the fact that the new testament contains a lot of what may be based on truth, though this will have been twisted a lot by handing down by word of mouth over many years. the old testament however, can only be fable. catgate
I find it difficult to visualise an entity, with the intelligence, forethought and power to create the world, creating creatures who could and would destroy each other, and in so doing destroy its handiwork. Surely the programming of these creatures could have been better. Or alternatively, since this entity was so powerful and omnipresent, it could have instructed each of these creatures directly, just prior to the act, not to commit various acts. In fact being so powerful and omnipresent it could have prevented them.
