Watchful
You can download a free one here: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/ which a lot of people swear by, or just use the Windows Firewall by going to Start/Control Panel/Security Centre and turning it on. trackrat
Another fee one that is highly regarded is Zone Alarm.http://majorgeeks.com/ZoneAlarm_Free_d388.htmlAnd another one that is also good is Avast.http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.htmlSo take your pick. -pops-
Hello SharonI've had a look at the site on your link and see that some of the software is offered on a trial basis i.e. pay for it later and some I've never heard of.I think you would be best using personal recommendations such as have been offered here rather than a site with a possible commercial interest. The firewall I use is Sygate which can be downloaded in its old and free version from click here. Be careful that you download the FREE version as there is a commercial edition which not only costs but isn't as good.

Ataip
Good enough firewall is Jetico Personal firewall.
Mike567
Comodo I would say is the best for wired connections.
Belatucadrus
avast! is excellent, but it's just anti virus, and does not include a firewall. It's well worth installing, but not if you already have AV software as attempting to run two simultaneously is usually disastrous.
