The two Prawns, Paul and Christian had grown up together and were great friends. Christian noticed that Paul wasn’t his usual self and had asked him if he was OK. Paul had said that he was totally fed up with life and wished for something better. At this point there was this tremendous flash of watery blue light lightening. Now this is very difficult to take place under the sea.

Now read on.

As the light faded there appeared a Fairy Prawn. She said, in her dulcet tones “Christian, I am your Prawn Fairy Godmother. We, of the Prawn Fairy Council have been observing you for some considerable time and are very concerned for your well-being. We have decided that in order to ensure your happiness we will grant you three wishes. Each wish will be carried out but only three, so you must think and choose wisely.”

“You mean that whatever I wish will be granted?” said Paul. “Yes, but only three wishes.”

So Paul started to give this matter some serious thought. “Being a prawn is not much fun. Every one else is trying to eat us and all we can do is jerk our tails and hope we can escape danger. We seem to spend all our time scurrying around the ocean floor from one hiding place to another. I fancy being someone with power and strength. You know I wouldn’t mind being a shark. In fact I would like to be a Great White Shark.” “Is that your first wish?” asked the Prawn Fairy godmother.

“Yes my wish is to be a Great White Shark,” said Paul.

“Are you really sure about this?” she said.

“Yes I really want to be a Great White Shark,” said Paul.

Without any further to-do she waved her magic wand and Bang there was this tremendous flash of watery blue lightening, which is very difficult under water.
