CurlyWhirly Posted January 10, 2008 Report Share Posted January 10, 2008 I've ran all 3 rootkit scanners and there was nothing found so I'm relieved.Incidentally does anyone know why the program window is a mass of numbers and letters like in my screenshot? p.s. the arrangement of random numbers and letters seems to change every time AVG anti-rootkit is run! As Pat knows I have NO faith at all in Windows Defender, as it has NEVER found anything on my PC that other programs did find, including tracking cookies and Trojans. I had just run either A Squared or SUPERAntiSpyware and found some Malware plus two Trojans. I left them and ran Windows Defender as a test, and it found NOTHING. I ran the other Anti Malware program, and it also found the same Malware and Trojans. I then uninstalled Windows Defender.
