And doing so would be wrong. Why is this not the same with your post?I did not find it funny at all and frankly find it offensive Alan. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Not quite the same thing. The picture is a mock-up of one photo (it may be two or three) of one single Asian guy. No twins. No girls. One guy. No racism.
Watchful
I also thought it was mostly the same image.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Also most likely it was made by the guy himself.

I would make clear that I am not racist - and would regard your response as offensive if that is what you are implying.Humour - in virtually all its forms - is nearly always at the expense of someone or something. Unfortunately, in todays climate, there is always someone, somewhere, eager to leap on any humourous parody to make PC capital out of it. I trust this was not your intent. This picture is clearly a clever construction made up of the same person - as was immediately recognised by other members.I'm sorry if you were offended DW - it was not the intent - but it illustrates the differences that exist in people's perception and sense of humour. Mike567
It it was supposed to be a piss take it would have been a real picture, the fact no one smiles in the picture and one of their hands is out of place its not real.If they where not Asian no one would even consider it as racist. But I can see what everyone is talking about, I think its something that shouldn't be posted on forums. But just look at there hands and you will notice its a fake picture. Mike567
Why can't I edit my comment, I made a typo that looks bad, it it was supposed to be if it.I think the point in it was someone says a number with somein' and alanho says its just 1 person = joke, not racism it just happens that they are asian and more than likely it started there. catgate
I saw a very interesting item on the Manchester University site some time ago about racism. It drew a very interesting conclusion about the type of people who were "concerned" about it, and why.I have just looked for it again but have not found it. AlanHo
I lived in Hong Kong for a couple of years in 1991 and still have friends from there. One of my old Chinese friends, who now lives in Australia, sent me the Email as a bit of fun - to remind me he used to say (joke) that all us Brits looked the same to him.I have sent him a link to this thread - I am sure he will be surprised and amused at it. Watchful
It strikes me that today, many people are too easily offended. They need to get their sense of humour out of the cupboard.

Gandalph
As Bernard Manning once said, It is very difficult to tell a joke which doesn't involve people or places. It doesn't matter what colour or religion a person may be or what place the joke is about, someone will be offended by it. I think that was a very true statement.
