artist Posted July 23, 2008 Report Share Posted July 23, 2008 Did you miss me? :D We had a lovely two weeks in Cornwall. Weather reasonable for most of the time. Just one day with continuous rain and two when the clouds were on the ground all day. We saw endless gardens and stately homes - the prettiest place by far was Mousehole. I'll post some pics when I get them sorted out.Spent a beautiful sunny day on a cliff overlooking St Mawes. Had a picnic and did no more than sit in our chairs. We had been to St Mawes first - that too was a pretty little bay.Went to Padstow - home of chef Rick Stein - disappointed in it - SO crowded! - and such a small place. I'm sure it's very pretty on a sunny day in the winter but you couldn't see the place for the crowds. Didn't have any of his fish and chips - rip off, we thought, at £8 head from the shop.
