AlanHo
Short and to the Point I was talking to some socialist friends who came for coffee with their son. I asked the lad what he wanted to do when he was grown up and he said he wanted to be like Mr Brown, Prime Minister some day. So I asked him, "If you were Prime Minister, what would be the first thing you would do?" He replied, "I'd give houses to all the homeless people." "Wow...what a worthy goal." I told him, "You don't have to wait until you're Prime Minister to do that. You can come over to my house for a day to help mow the lawns, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you £20. Then I'll take you over to where the homeless guys hang out, and you can give one of them the £20 to use toward a new house." He thought that over for a few seconds while his Mom glared at me, then he looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the £20?" I said, "Welcome to the Conservative Party!"
