A misguided person has the potential to learn from their mistakes & might be able to put things right. But a stupid person can't even understand that he's made mistakes, or why. I suppose being stupid was a qualification for the job at that time, so that the likes of psychopaths like Cheney and Rumsfeld could really control things.As for Blair, why couldn't he see what was happening? B. Liar doesn't seem to be stupid. Maybe it was all the superficial glory of standing shoulder to shoulder with the president of the USA that deluded him. He is/was a chronic liar, and Bush provided him with the opportunity to lie all he wanted to the British public. That's the part he enjoyed; the war itself meant nothing to him.
