Coming back to say hello again. Things have been busy for me but have now settled down.

Update on some personal events:

1. My physical disability has finally been diagnosed as an untreatable spinal stenosis affecting muscles in my right leg and my lower back. Our house now holds 2 gimps........the other being my lovely wife who has a neuropsy affecting her right leg.........she wears a brace to help her walk.

2. My son is a US Marine and is a heavy construction equipment operator. He is presently dismantling a US Marine base in Iraq that has been taken control by the Iraqis.

3. My daughter is living with her boyfriend (my how times have changed) and working full time after graduating from Ohio State University. Both eventually plan on moving to North Carolina if they can secure jobs down there. Good move as the cold and snow in Ohio during the winter gets old after Christmas.

4. My wife volunteers a few half days/week at our local animal protective league and works in the surgery dept. spaying and neutering dogs and cats.

5. To help keep me busy I am starting a new hobby...............model trains, specifically 0/0-27 gauge Marx and Lionel. I will slowly work on building a track layout in our basement. With the stock market and economy continuing to go south these vintage trains will be a good investment and will be handed down to my son and daughter.

I will be busy catching up and reading posts I missed over the months I have been away.

Anyway.........hello friends and am glad to be back. :flowers:
