AlanHo Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 I read that they are making a film about Al Jolson's life - but in order not to cause offence to the lilly livered, veggie eating, sandal wearing, whimpy PC brigade he will not have a blacked up face.Al Jolsons trademark was a blacked face - so why the sensitivity about not portraying him accurately. It just beggars belief.We are going through a black time in our history - black clouds are gathering over us and I am in a truly black mood at the thought of it.
