Gandalph Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 There could be a lot of truth in that.In the village where I grew up there were a few streets of houses called The Limes, The Elms, The Oaks, The Poplars, The Beeches, and I always wondered at the time if that particular area had been populated by such tree's as there were some of them still standing here and there. There was nobody old enough left in the village to remember when the houses were built and what was there before the Village came to life.
