-pops- Posted September 24, 2009 Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 Chewing a bath sponge - yuk!My dog does a trick (seemingly self taught) of allowing a Bonio (dog biscuit) to rest on his nose and resisting the temptation to eat it until given the go-ahead. I would balance the biscuit on her nose and she would just sit there. Then when I said 'eat' she would throw it into the air, a few inches, then eat it. I didn't teach her to do it. When she wanted one she would walk round and round the coffee table (they were in a bowl on the table) then lean over and bop the orange with her nose. Of course, I used to tease her and say things like "What do you want, then? You'll have to show me". After having her do this several times I would slowly start to peel the orange. My goodness, by this time she was usually drooling all over the place. Yeah, I know - horrible! But she loved playing the game and always ate all the orange up.
