Now to get this on New Year's day in the morning was very discombobulating to say the least. Using a new O/S - what's a dns cache and where do I the pull chain? With great difficulty I managed to get one end of the computer box thingy into the toilet bowl, flushed it, then I did the other end, then the keyboard and finally the flat screen in the same way. The whole task took about 30 minutes (due to having to wait for the cystern to refill each time) and used an aweful lot of water. But still, after all that I couldn't access the board, so then I thought it must be still be in bed with a hangover from New Years Night.Anyway, it seems to have come out of its stupor now. We were moved onto another server and were given a new IP. This had to propagate to all the DNS servers. It wouldn't have been instant.How do I Flush DNS?
