Registration Dates

The registration dates have been changed due to a bug in the chat room.

The bug has now been fixed, but for people who entered the chat room prior to the fix (like myself) your registration date would have been changed to the particular date you first entered the chat.

I cannot revert the date back as the backups of the database i have are all after the installation of the chat room.

I can see a registration field within the MySQL database which i can alter manually, however the data is encrypted so is next to impossible.

I have contacted Invision and i'm awaiting a response to see if they can help me out with the encrypted data.

If they can help, i shall manually change members registration dates.

Until then, nothing can be done.

Craig.

Can I make a suggestion.

My registration date has changed along with the other members.

However - I remain registered as member number 184.

It may be a bit of a chore - but I imagine that you can plot all the members in member number order and thereby interpolate the date they joined from the joining dates of the members whose records have not been bugged.

Ows Zat.

Personally I couldn't care less if the joining date is wrong. How can anyone in this day and age be ruled by primitive superstition? The date is fixed by a man made calendar, and no single day is any more likely to be catastrophic than any other.

There's no explaining it, andsome. I'm a logical person in most respects. I can tell you though that if you're affected by a superstition you can lock up if you don't take steps to heed, what seems to you, an ear splitting cosmic fanfare of warning.

Now, if someone could just seat an ion engine on poor ol' 1950DA and steer him gently into the universal waste basket I can get back on the rails.

PS. Cheers, ellas. :)
