Before Relating this story, I should mention that I have a Daughter-in-Law who is of Indian descent.

I also have friends and acquaintances of many colours, races, and religions.

That's gonna help the economy then - And the lack of qualified teaching staff U.K. :(

I wonder if there would have been a similar outcome if she had sprayed the Welsh kids for smelling of "Leeks". Or if working in Arbroath, for smelling of "Smokies."

Nobody objects to the smell of, or the after smell of cooking in the kitchen or at the dinner table.

But in the workplace, or at school ?

I think not perhaps. :)

We all have a responsibility to present to our fellow human beings a non-smelly and Hygienic person to interact with at close level. These lessons should be taught and learned during the formative years.

Seems to me that this experienced person with 20 years of gathered skills was trying to educate the kids (and their parents) about basic hygeine.

And then as usual someone tries to play the "Race Card".

The U.K. has gone stark raving bonkers.

I just love curry, garlic and onions. If people don't like the smell that it just tough luck. I also like fresh baked bread and cakes, cucumber, toast etc etc, all of which have distinctive smells, SO WHAT?B) B) B)

This teacher was obviousely trying to do her part in curbing the tide of canabalism.

If you have people running about reeking of others' favorite dishes,it is only a matter of time before one starts to look at these children as food.

We would do well to keep this type of maverick attitude in the classrooms if we desire a fresh generation to run/rundown this planet of ours....;)

There is a cure for breath with Garlic. Just was a sprig of fresh parsley and chew it, hey presto the smell has gone.

Parsley just neutralises the smell of the Garlic, I don't think you can smell the parsley afterwards. :D

I rather think there's more to this than we've been told about. Normally, if someone behaved like this, someone more senior would have a quiet but firm word with the person concerned. Seems more like a mental health problem to me. But after 20years experience, and earning 34 thousand p.a.? Unbelievable!
