I was trying to send an email with a photo and a clip art pasted into the body of the email instead of attached to the email. I copied the object and then clicked paste in the email, but all I see is the outline of the object but no photo or clip art. I then tried it using Chrome and Mozilla but got the same results. D4\/!d Posted May 29, 2011 Report Share Posted May 29, 2011 I have this same problem with Win 7 and Outlook I cannot copy paste an image into the body of my Outlook email.However I have a fiddly workaround.Locate the image file [in Explorer].Right click and select "Open with".Choose your preferred browser - I use Firefox.Open the image file in Firefox.Right click the Image and select Copy Image.Now Paste into the body of the email.Job done - An image not an attachment.As I say it's fiddly but it works B)Have you any better ideas anyone... Click Save. 4. When you're composing a message, you'll see an icon in the Gmail toolbar, between the emoji and the link buttons. Click that to insert an image (you can add either a URL or a file you've saved to your computer).Keep in mind that labs are experimental features and might break or disappear, so if you're experiencing problems with your Gmail after enabling this lab, try disabling Labs as a troubleshooting step. Now I've started a dummy email the option is available to me.Nice find Alan.Microsoft Office Professional 2010 on Windows 7 64 bit.As well as inserting pictures - with version 2010 you can use the insert button to paste in some fancy shapes and other things.
