rockergrl718
I previously had Windows XP with Realplayer and it had worked just fine. Once I upgraded to Windows 7. I had tried to use Realplayer again, but I've been unable to make it work successfully. It keeps saying something went wrong and made Realplayer stop working when the video I was downloading was almost fully complete. I've been uninstalling it and reinstalling ti at least 10 times already, am I doing something wrong? Was I supposed to restart the computer once I uninstalled it and again when I reinstalled it? Or is there something better than Realplayer that's free that works on Windows 7?

andsome
I wouldn't touch Real Player again with the proverbial barge pole. WMP works fine for me thanks.
bludgard
WMP works until a bitrate doesn't fit it's needs or a file is unsupported (needing to install more codecs for the player).VLC for all else (even most partial and/or corrupt files can be played).
