MANEMAN
Alan. Why dont you just grab yourself a portable browser, unzip it to a folder on the desktop and try to use that just for Windows Forum ? I think this is going to be an on-going problem due to bad design or bad JS coding. A kind of boys text editor sent to do a mans job, and mounted slap bang middle of a forum. Google Chrome PortablePortable Slim Browser It is worth a try, and there would be nothing to install. John.
Irene
Just a thought - is your Flash Player up to date? May not have any relevance, but was just a thought. I just had another thought...Earlier today I was using my iPad and realised that I was not able to see any of the formatting options. I was using Safari which doesn't support Flash. I think in an earlier post you mentioned that you were in Spain, so I guess that you were not on your normal comp. Could that be anything to do with it? Could that be anything to do with it?I don't think so - my problems started at home when I upgraded to Win8 and IE10. I have now installed Chrome on the netbook - I absolutely hate it - but it works on this forum.
Irene
No doubt MS will fix the IE10 problem with updates. I am sure you won't be the only one with this problem. ;)
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Nothing to do with IE10; it's the forum - it has been that way for more than a year now. Learn BBCode...
MANEMAN
Pat Said: Learn BBCode... But when you do, try it on a different editor to this one. Born broken, like the Alpha Romeo gearbox linkage and Adolph Hitler. http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/webmaster/article.php/3882871/Web-Developer-Tutorial-Learn-How-To-Use-BBcode.htm Now will you lot shut up on this subject, and just grin and bear it. :P

Gandalph
I've had no problems with the Forum using an iMac. It must be a Windows related thing.
